Brief Description: Gordon Broich's Tailcone to Fuselage Fit-up
At 5 PM, I went over to Gordon Broich's house and helped him fit his RV-10 tailcone to his quick-build fuselage. We had to file the left side tailcone longeron down about 3/32" in length to resolve a minor interference with the matching fuselage longeron so the left side skin rivets would line up, but other than that, the fit alignment was great. I'm very impressed with the quality of Gordon's quick-build kits (wings & fuselage), and I will probably give this option serious consideration going forward if work constraints limit my available build time.
