2nd day of Cleaveland Air Tools class. The class was held at the W&C Aircraft Works hangar at the Boone Municipal Airport in Iowa. Several RVs were in various stages of build progress throughout the shop, and it was interesting to see the different models and choices made by the owners. One particularly interesting plane in the shop was an RV-9 (that's right, the -9 tailwheel model, not the -9A tricycle gear). I understand that of the 1,000+ RV-9/9A model kits sold by Van's, less than 10 of the kits have been RV-9s (with conventional/tailwheel landing gear),
