Brief Description:  Received Parts

This is a CH-7 Kompress kit I purchased from a gentleman who had just completed construction. He caught the left skid in a low hover and it rolled onto the left side. The hobbs had just 2.2 hours on it. I got all of the parts except for the engine and any damaged rotating components. The apparent damage includes the fiberglass cabin and a small crack in the frame. The frame is pressurized with nitrogen gas. If a drop in pressure occurrs, the pilot is alerted via an audible warning and a pressure gauge in the cockpit. The frame pressure is just 1 of over 14 parameters continuously monitored and reported through the audible system. The helicopter also has electric trim and an electronic throttle govenor. For more info on the Kompress check out http://www.ch-7helicopter.com/eng/default.htmThe plan is to disassemble, inspect, repaint and reassemble.
