In preparation of tracking the blades, I ordered a set of LED Tracking Lights from Canadian Home Rotors.
Each of these units have a bright LED of a different color that makes it easy to attach to the end of each blade to get a visual clue as to which blade is tracking too high. The common wisdom is to lower the high blade to preserve the negative angle of attack that will be needed for an autorotation.
The small holes in the brackets are for the screws to secure the light to the blades, while the larger bore is used to mount the light itself (the units unscrew to mount in the hole).
