Brief Description: Lower Center Console Panel Installation
I was attempting to install as many wires as I could to the backside of the panels before putting them in place since it's much more difficult to work on them once they are installed. I had to modify the lower panel to add a WIG-Wag circuit for the high intensity LED landing light.
This light (AeroSUN from Aeroleds.com) puts out about 1600 Lumens but uses only 1/4 of the power of a standard light and has an life of something like 50,000 hours. It also has a Wig-Wag function that flashes the light for increased visibility. The light itself is on backorder from Aircraft Spruce so I will detail it's installation once I receive it. I happened to leave 3 blanks in the lower panel for additional switches so it was a fairly easy to mount up the switch since the panel was not installed yet. I also engraved the new nomenclature on the panel front (photo 2 below).
