Earlier I ordered the Dynon Head Start kit. It includes everything except for the EFIS unit itself. It was a great advantage to get the mounting tray ahead of time to get started on the panel layout without having to pay for the expensive electronics. The first photo shows the remote compass, OAT probe for density alt. display on the EFIS, mounting tray (I alodined the tray), and wiring harness for the EFIS and the Transponder.
The Davtron digital clock was chosen based upon it's ease of use and the fact that Zulu time is displayed with the press of a button. Photo 3 below shows the LED indicators I'll be using in place of the bulb type supplied with the kit. These a very inexpensive and are available from Stein Air.
