Brief Description: Designing and Cutting Switch Console Mockup
There's more work than I imagined in designing and laying out the switch/instrument panels. What you see here is the 2nd modification of the switch console panels. What may not be readily apparent when designing your panel, is the fact that the device connected to that switch may be considerably larger behind the panel. The first attempt had the circuit breakers located a little too close. Having the panels designed in the computer makes quick work of any necessary changes. I've used foam board for the mockups. This material has thick cardboard on both sides with a foam core. It's inexpensive, easy to handle and the laser cuts through it like butter.
