Brief Description: Protecting Skid Feet from Scratches
Saturday morning I loaded up the cabin and dropped it off at a paint shop to have the final topcoat and finishing details applied. Even though the frame and skid legs are powder coated, I wanted to avoid any scratches on the bottom of the front skid feet from being move around the paint shop. Before I loaded it up, I cut some PVC drain pipe to fit the feet to protect the bottoms and it seems to work ok. I mounted the ground handling wheels at the rear of the skids.
