Brief Description: Fitting Panels for Final Riveting
The two side panels are a real tight fit to the front skid gear mounting stubs. Some builders have mentioned that they have damaged the paint on the frame while installing these. I took the precaution of protecting the finish before I attempted the final installation of these panels. I bought a couple of sheets of a clear tough plastic found in the kitchen wares section of the local department store. It is normally used to protect countertops when slicing vegetables. I cut it into thin strips and wrapped it around the mounting stubs and secured it with a tough green mylar tape. As you can see in the second photo below, it worked great.
