Brief Description:  Misc. Small Tasks

Today was a long day spent doing some of the smaller things I had put off. Thankfully this list is getting smaller. Some of the To-Do items included:

Installed the tailboom (had to remove it to get it into the interior shop) and connected the wiring for the strobe, tail light and the tail rotor chip.

Installed the tail rotor control cable and linkage.

Added nylon stops under the seat lids to prevent the seats from sliding around and working on the seat hinge.

Coated the under-seat storage pans and doorway edge trim with spray-on truck bed liner material.

Welded on the retainer rings on the ends of both collectives. These were cut off to apply dry film lubricant to the interior surfaces.

Installed the collective grips and added d-sub connectors to the wiring.

Repaired pitot tube (broken during install of interior).

Routed and secured the VHF radio antenna lead and installed the antenna.

Started installation of the Cyclic sticks.
