Brief Description:  Rigging the Swash

Rigging the swash has been an exercise in frustration. The first attempt (swash height set to 2.689") resulted in a setting where I could not get the proper range of motion with the collective raised. The factory settings in the manual (2.625") did not work either due to binding encountered with forward cyclic applied. The series of photos below detail some of the steps in rigging to the factory specified numbers.

It appears that each ship has slightly different settings due to "variations in components". My final settings ended up with the swash set at 2.70" with the collective down. This gave me the best range of motion in all directions: Fwd-9.0 degrees, Aft- 9.3, Left-8.3, Right- 8.7
