One of the final wiring chores was to install the headset jacks and to splice the Lightspeed Ignition input cable. The cable terminates at the control unit with a rather large electrical connector that would not fit through the firewall bulkhead fitting during an engine change. The cable was shortened and spliced using barrel and pin connectors that can be seperated and easily fed through the bulkhead fitting. I covered each connector with clear heatshrink to prevent a short.
The electronic throttle governor is one of the last items that requires wiring. I ran all of the leads, but I first need to sit down and study the schematic that Bill furnished to me for connecting the Plasma III and governor indicator lights to a set of relays.
