I need to install the engine and transmission to determine where to make the cut-outs in the shroud for the control rods. I fabricated the engine lift per the construction manual, but found that it would not fit as designed with an engine that has a direct sensing module installed for the electronic ignition.
Instead of removing the electronics, I modified the lift to fit as shown in the last photo. After dropping the engine in and tightening the bolts, I found that it sat perfectly level in the mounts. No need to shim with washers.
