Brief Description:  More Nutplate Installation

I spent most of Saturday installing the remaining floating nutplates. I underestimated the amount of time it would take to install these. Locating, drilling, countersinking and deburring nearly 200 holes does take some time. The frame has over 60 nutplate locations not counting the sheet metal cabin pieces and the cabin floor ribs. I was able to use the rivet squeezer on most to the nuplates. There are approximately 12 nutplates that I will have to use a rivet gun on. On most of these I was able to set one of the rivets, but the remaining rivet location is not accessible with the squeezer. I have marked the rivet locations with red tape so I don't overlook them. I'll have to give the wife a short course in bucking rivets this next weekend.
