I finally got some time to practice TIG welding. It's gonna take a lot of practice. There are a few brackets I would like to weld on the frame, but not before I get proficient. TIG Tip #1: Don't weld in a short sleeve t-shirt. It results in painful "sunburn". After several hours and several welded pieces of scrap metal, I could see some definite improvement. Now when I see those nice TIG welds that look like a row of quarters, I really appreciate the welder's technique. Hopefully I'll have it down by next weekend.
