Brief Description: Main Rotor Tracking and Balancing
CHR has recently come up with a polar chart for balancing the main rotor. In order for the balancing reccomendations to work, the accelerometer and optical pickup must be mounted in specific locations. The DynaVibe balancer does not come with mounting brackets since each helicopter type will need individual mounts. I used fairly thick-walled material for these mounts to eliminate flexing and vibration. I used a laser pointer to help align the optical pickup bracket with the reflective target on the bottom of the blade.
