Corvair Engine disassembly. I started to take the engine a part and as I got in to the disassembly, I realized that this engine had been apart recently. One thing I observed that made it clear were scratch marks on the top of all the pistons. I'm thinking this was caused by someone pushing the pistons in to the cylinders. Also, two cylinder studs cme out when I removed the head bolts. They were not stripped so I should have no trouble re-installing them with thread locker. The engine looks very clean and it is coming apart very nicely.
