I found an excelent 1966 Corvair Engine. This engine is the 95 hp version and the head and case numbers match the numbers that make the best aircraft conversion. The engine was mounted on a stand which appeared to be built for use on an airboat. The engine turned over smoothly. Oil could not be seen on the dipstick Initial disassembly showed the engine to be in excelent shape I will disasemble the engine and rebuild it following the instructions from William Wynne using his corvair conversion manual and CD's.
The engine had a huge mouse nest under the blower shroud
