Brief Description: Painting and final identification
We used Tom Ward's sprint race car trailer to transport the wings, fiberglass parts and tail to Randy's Auto Body in Mexico, MO for painting. After a week we took the fuselage to be painted and brought the other parts back. After another week we picked up the fuselage. Entire airplane was painted white, but then Pro Auto Graphics in Mexico, MO placed red, silver and blue vinyl stripes. N5521 was placed on the side in vinyl decals.
I rivited the identification plate on the tail and placed the N-number on the instrument panel to the left of the Garmin G3X panel per Van's instructions.
