Brief Description: Moving the RV-12 Kit to Randy's house
|

Today we rented a U-Haul trailer and transported the unfinished RV-12 kit to my (Randy Schroder's) garage to begin work - that is after a landscaping project is completed as promised to my wife.
Steve Mottin’s widow, Barbara, was happy to get her garage and basement space freed up. I am sure it was an emotional experience for her seeing it go considering it was his labor of love. Steve had previously built another RV-9A, and the work he did so far on the RV-12 empennage, tail and wings was impeccable. I was able to transport it with no damage.
My thanks to Ron Burnett, a friend, EAA member and RV-6 builder, for him letting me know the RV-12 kit was for sale after Steve Mottin of Lake St Louis, MO passed away. Thanks to my friends Ron Burnett, Gene Shumaker, Mike Natale, my wife Michelle and son Aaron for helping with the move.
