Brief Description: Unpacked and inventoried Empennage Kit
It was exactly one month ago today that Steve Mottin faxed the order into Van's for the RV-12 empennage kit. He had lined up unloading help in the form of my dear friends Danny and Stacey Wells and brother-in-law Mike Smith.
He inventoried the kit and found only one minor descrepancy. There were two F-1280R parts and no F-1279R part. After matching up the left and right fuselage skins it became apparent that one of the two F-1280R pieces was mismarked and he did indeed have a complete set of skins.
All parts accounted for he began labeling drawers and putting up small parts.
