Brief Description: Drilling out matched holes for the stiffners
Today I trimmed some of the stiffners to fit on the Left elevator skin as described in note 1 of the DWG5 in the plans. I then peeled off the blue protective covering of the inner surface of the elevator skins. Next, I clecoed on all the stiffners and the E615PP trim plate reinforcement. All the of the #40 matched holes were then drilled through to the correct diameter. I then, with the help of Gabriella, deburred all the skin and stiffner holes. Finally, dimpled the stiffners. The parts are now ready to be etched and alodined in preparation for priming with epoxy.
