Well, after nearly a month off from the project, I started back in her today. I know, I know, how could somebody really be serious about a project like this if you take a month off from working on it. Well, I had a really good reason. I was on vacation with the family. We all piled in the Piper Lance and flew across the country. We wen to Harlan IA, Wichita KS, Ausin TX, Jacksonville FL, River Ranch Resort FL (near Orlando FL), Miami Beach FL, and Nashville TN. What a great trip. We had a great time and and the flying was beautifull. I can't wait to take another cross country like that. That was first one like that.
Anyways, today I started in on the elevator. This is the final major structural piece of the empanage. Today I snipped out the stiffners for the elevators. Although I am starting on the Right elevator I cut out all the stiffners on this setting. Called it a day after this. I know, not much work but I am easing myself back into it. Besides I have alot on my plate these days and there just isn't enough time in the day.
