Brief Description: Riveting on the skin for Left HS
Today I began to flush rivet on the left HS skin to the front spar and all ribs. This was not too difficult but flush riveting is more difficult thant standard head riveting. If you are not careful the flush rivet will skip along the surface of your skin denting it all the way. I learned this through hard knocks. Get it knocks? Never mind! Anyways. I needed help today to ensure that I don't skip the flush rivet set along the skin surface. So, I enlisted the help of my sweet wife Yamy. I was very surprised she was pretty good and got the hang of bucking rivets right away. She did a great job and I am proud to say that she put some time into the project.
Anyways, I only was able to partially finish the riveting on the left HS and I was called in to work. So, I called it a day. I suppose I will finish this tomorrow, and maybe even the right HS to boot. We'll see?
