Brief Description: Riveting together the HS front spar
Today I took some time to organize some of the Hardware that came with the kit in screw bins. This took a while. Today I was watching Glenn Beck on my Ipad in the garage, I mean airplane factory, while working so this distracted me a little and it took a little longer.
I then finish the rear spar by bolting on the elevator bearing bracket and torqueing it down to 25 inch lbs of torque. I couldn't do this yesturday cuz I didn't have a torque wrench for this. So, I went to Sears for this today. That freakin wrench cost 69 beans plus tax. Magic beans no less. You know the one that's value is dispearing before our very eyes cuz of the fool we have in the white house printing money. Anyways, let's not go there, eh.
Once, I was finished with the rear spar, I went on to the front spar. I riveted that together pretty quick, but then puttin on those ribs was a pain in the neck. I finally was able to squezze the rivets on with the rivet squezzer.
Called it a day after this.
