Brief Description: It's official, My build has begun!
Ok the day has arrived almost 1 year after receiving my emp kit. I have started! So very excited! First things first, Break the edges of the HS609-PP. Using the 4" belt/disk sander, I rounded the ends as instructed and began to fit to HS603-PP. I smooth out with a red scotchbrite pad. I will buff to a "mirror finish" as the plans call for when the bench grinder arrive with the bluffing wheel. Leaving the rough finish on the aluminum component could cause a crack to develope over time and possibly cause a total failure of the component.
