Received a call from Steve Bennett at Great Plains Aircraft, they were worried that the accessory plate they had sent me had been welded with the wrong type of welding wire. Steve asked me to return the accessory plate and they would furnish a new one.
I was somewhat concerened when I first recieved the plate as it looked like it had been modified to fit my application. The mounting ears on the plate had been relocated and welded back on. Having never seen one before I just assumed this was normal.
While Steve was on the phone I questioned him about the disc brake kit I had ordered, it appeared that it would not work with my existing wheels. I explained to Steve that I had Cleveland wheels, and axles. He said to send the brake kit back as I needed to find the appropriate Cleveland Calipers to use with my existing wheels and rotors.
