I started the day by cutting a piece of .025 sheet to 10"x10", folded it over a piece of 1"nylon rod I had lying around. I installed the hinge halves and then a temporary the hinge pin as a test to see how hard the real thing would be. No sweat!The blanks for the main gear fairings had been cut to size. The hinge halves were installed on the inside trailing edges of each fairing. They have not been installeld on the main gear since it requires drilling a hole in the bottom of the fuselage through which the hinge piin will be installed.
