Brief Description: Installed ELTantenna and TAXIED
I started the day installing the ELT batteries and then installed the antenna centered on the bottom of the fuselage about 6 inches aft of the spar channel. If I crash upside down I'll need it. If I land right side up I won't need it Then I tightened up the brake cable. Then I polished up the plastic and pulled it out of the hangar. After running thru the check list she started on the first turn of the prop I taxied once up and down the taxiway as everything settled down at 1050 RPM and ii could stop the plane with the brake. Then I turned her into the wind, locked the brakes and started to increase the RPM. She started to crawl at about 1400 RPM. CHT were at the upper limit. Problem or because of the excessive taxiing?
