Brief Description: Remove plastic protective coating from airlerons
The protective plastic coating on the airlerons was nto easy to remmove. Instead of peeling off nicely in large pieces, it came off in 1/2 inch pieces. Solvents, polar and nonpolar wouldn't help. So I turned to gentle heat. I used my heat gun to heat small areas (about 4x4 inches) and then gently peeled off as big a piece as I could. Still small pieces but it worked. 2 hours of a truly Zen process on the bottom of the airleron with the wing removed and on a stand.
