Sorting bits from the box and starting to find components of the rudder, next need to start deburring pieces. Generally the holes are pretty clean little bit of work on the edges. Once cleaned up clecoed rudder together all looks fine.
Dismantled rudder and primed using an etch primer and a spray gun. Well that didn't work quite as well as I hoped. My skills with the spray gun leave a lot to be desired. I think I will go back to the recommended method and use the water based primer and only on the spots needed. I now know when I get to the stage of painting someone else will get that job, not me.
