After finishing jury duty I was able to get back into the build. Clecoeing the skin over the fin frame and then riveting it into place was my first task. Unfortunately my inexperience with pop rivets and a pnuematic riveter didn't go perfectly. The heads of all the rivets are a bit rough from not using the correct size tip on the rivet gun. I used the only tip that came with the gun not knowing any better. The advice I got from an experienced builder was to junk the gun and getter a high quality one. What a difference, perfect rivets every time. Problem solved and another lesson learned.
