Brief Description:  Fuel Injection - Pt 3

I started to install the various fuel injection components to make sure I don't run into any surprises later.

I can confirm that if you READ the instructions from Airflow Performance BEFORE trying to install these components, you will save a bit of head-scratching. :(

After mounting the fuel servo and the divider, I gave thought to how I would route my fuel lines. I intend to install a Red Cube fuel flow transducer so that had to be considered as well.

The routing from the firewall to the mechanical fuel pump, then to the servo was pretty straight forward but I really did not like the idea of routing the fuel line from the servo to the divider up between two cylinders while trying to fit the Red Cube in there as well.

After bouncing my idea off Don at Airflow Performance, I will route the fuel line from the servo aft and around the back of the engine, pass through the baffle and go forward to connect to the divider. I plan to install the Red Cube on top of the engine just forward of the baffle.

I feel that during operation, this setup keeps heat soaking of the fuel lines to a minumum and keeps the Red Cube in the coolest part of the engine.
