While I continued to "fine tune" the nose bowl we started to trim the engine baffling for final fit. Starting with the rear baffles, we trimmed each piece so it fit snuggly and without any interferance with structure or gaskets (such as the valve cover gaskets).
Because I had modified the nose bowl openings after I had completed the initial trimming of the baffles, I reinstalled the nose bowl with my alignment jig and found I will only need minor changes to the front baffling to accomodate the larger inlet opening. I was quite happy about that!
