Brief Description:  Windshield - Pt 3

I have opted to make my windshied retainer from fiberglass rather than aluminum. After cleaing both the boot cowl and windshield, I cleco'd the windshield in place and applied duct tape around the exterior periphery. My last layer was applied vertical to make a smooth transition as the windshield comes around the sides of the boot cowl.

Next I applied several coats of car wax to the duct tape and spread plastic over every surface that could get resin dripped on it. The windshield itself already has a protective film on it so I just spread some car wax on that surface as well, about 2" above the duct tape.
