Before riveting the cowl door piano hinges to the top cowl, I wanted to add a seal that would stop the air from escaping through these piano hinges.
I cut a 1.5" wide strip of thin baffle material and placed it under the piano hinge in such a fashion to cover the hinged portion but did not overlap the fasteners common to the access door as I felt this would provide a better seal.
