Brief Description: Riveted right flap -both flaps completed
I've read that a lot of builders find the flaps difficult despite Van's claim that it is the easiest part to build. I'm not sure if it is the easiest part but I had no particular problem. Like other parts, I found it very enjoyable and quick but that's just me.
I had prepared and primed all the parts for the remaining right flap and also the aileron hinge brackets two weeks ago so today I planned to assemble and final rivet the right flap and rivet the hinge bracket together.
I will rivet the flap hinge to bottom skin after I complete the wings to align trailing edge of flap and aileron
