Today I prosealed L5 rib but I need to find a better way to rivet the first couple of rivets near leading edge. I will ask my wife Louise to help on the next one. I also need a better tool to filet the proseal.
I think I found a good way to apply proseal to form a filet. 1. prepare a batch of proseal as usual then place the mixture onto sheet size plastic wrap. 2. form the plastic wrap into a ball and twirl one end about 3/8" and cut it off to form an opening. 3 insert the open tip into a 10cc syringe and squeeze all the proseal into the syringe 4 apply a bead of proseal where you want a filet, then using a regular popsicle the stick in one continuous motion along the filet joint to obtain a smooth and even filet. Small imperfections can be fixed or sometimes better left alone.
This procedure makes a perfect filet and best of all it does not leave a mess. I also use the syringe to apply proseal to seal the rivet
