Another great day. It's always nice to get all the pre work of .....smoothing, drilling, deburring, alumiprep, priming, etc ...out of the way. Then, in a matter of 7 hours in this case you get a finished product to admire.
To help rivet the aft skin to spar, I first clamped an aluminum angle to trailing edge (image #1) and then tied the angle to the ceiling just enough to hold the aft skin up so that I could get my hand and bucking bar inside to rivet easily. Note that the spar is screwed to top of a 2x4 L shaped jig to keep assembly nicely secured and off the table by about 7 inches.
