Brief Description: Leading edge cradle, clecoed eading edge to skin
Very long but productive day
Made leading edge assembly cradle accoding to insructions except that I made increased height from bottom board to leading edge distance to have more room to work the clecoes on. This helped a lot. I clecoed all but one rib. The last rib needs to be drilled at assembly with spar. All went relatively well. I followed the cleco sequesnce per the instructions and except for first couple of holes at the leading edge assembly was not so bad.
I fixed the #12 rib by adding doubler and deburred rib to spar mounting holes. Drilled remaing 3/4" conduit holes in lower front part of main ribs.
I drilled RW bellcrang bushing ID to final size. To do this, I drilled a clamping hole in a 2 x 4 making sure the hole is at 90 deg to work surface and cut the length of the 2x4 through the center of this hole. I inserted the bushing and clamped the assembly to the drill press table and drilled ID to final size.
