Brief Description: Riveted nutplates for tank skin attach
Started to rivet nut plates for wing tank attach skin on first spar by clecoing one hole of nutplate to flange and with a small artist brush I dabbed a bit of prepared two part primer in the other hole before inserting the rivet and moving to next hole. I do this whenever we have two different materials…aluminum and steel in this case ..... to prevent corrosion of dissimilar metals.
