Brief Description:  New tools, alumiprep and prime

Went to local Harbor Freight and Sears today and purchased some new tools. Bought 2 die grinders - 1 straight and 2 @ 90 deg. Also bought a 90deg disc sander. At Sears, I bought sanding disks and 3 " scotch brite deburring wheels with 1/4 shank that fits in die grinders or air drill. . These work great in corners and also on edges since I can do both surfaces at one time.

I also bought 2 packages of foam sanding pads ( Med and Fine) to try out. I met someone at our EAA 690 chapter last Sat that told me about this. So far it hasn't worked for me as I prefer scotch brite

We were supposed to go to North Georgia this afternoon with my daughter Lisa to see the College she will be attending in Aug but she was very sick in the morning and we cancelled. So I went down in the workshop and continued on the elevator. I alumiprep'd and primed all remaining parts.

I had lots of primer left over so I saved it as a test to see how long it would last. I tried it 12 hours later on scrap parts and it seemed to be still good enough for touch ups.
