I've gone as faras I could on the rudder so I began the right elevator. Not much today. Spent lots of un-recorded time studying the manual and the drawings to make sure I don't mess up cutting and trimming the elevator stiffners. There are a total of 29 stiffners for the L&R elevators and I made the following table to better visualize what was needed. The first colum are the stiffner letters according to the drawing. The next 2 colums indicate the qty of stiffners for Left and right elevator, and the last colum is the total as a double check. Once I cut the lengths of stiifners as received into individual stiffners, most of the rough trimming is done with on the band saw, but I also used my belt sander to square up the ends. and chamfer the corners. By chamfereing the corners, it makes it a whole lot easier and faster to round the corners with a file.
