I placed a long strip of wood between the skins so that I would have room to first apply the RTV on the trailing edge stiffener rivets before inserting the wedge. That done, I placed the wedge sealant face down on the left skin and over the dimples. This stuff is so sticky, that I didn’t have to secure it with anything. Then I clecoed everything together between the two aluminium angles. The reason I used clamps is becaues I noticed the trailing edge opened up ever so slightly probably due to the thickness of the tank sealant. Anyway I removed them once I started removing clecoes to clean out the holes. I replaced the clecoes and and put the rudder aside for about 5 days to let the sealant set.
