Brief Description:  Dimple LW and checked leading edge to tank fit

Tonight I dimpled the LW rear spar. I had to grind down one of the squeezer yokes to clear acute angle of top flange. I was able to dimple LW ribs and rear spar flanges.

I then installed the RWLE to check the fit at the joint plate with tank. The fit was perfect so I removed both leading edge and tank to get ready to deburr and dimple ribs and spar.

In the attached picture #3, the right side is part of full size DWG 12
and the left side is part of preview plans DWG 38. The preview plan DWG 38 shows (7) holes for mounting K1000-08 nutplates between front and rear spar to join inboard bottom skin W-704-L and center bottom skin F776. Drawing 12 shows requirement of (10) for same location. I assumed that DWG 12 is correct and DWG 38 is not but wanted to make sure before dimpling holes in ribs that will get riveted and those that will get nutplate later on.
