Brief Description: Steve and Sam are here to comment on my workmanshi
I joined Steve and Sam for an early breakfast at IHOP before driving back home. I was really looking forward to them seeing my workshop and looking over the project and give there sincere and honest opinion. Well as you can see they certainly did that!
Of course they were just joking around. I think it was Steve's way of getting back at me for almost giving him a heart attack one day when along with a few others we were helping Steve do final alignment of the wings to fuselage before drilling the rear spar attach hole. It took forever to get the wings straight and perpendicular to the fuselage. Finally Steve was happy with the alignment and he proceeded to drill these two very important holes. A bit later, Steve wanted to take a final measurement between wing tip and a point on the fuselage center line near the vertical stab just to make sure we still had a good alignment. I was holding the tape measure at the wing tip and Steve was at the other end. Instead of positioning the mark on zero, I moved it to about 1/2 inch mark without Steve knowing. When Steve read the measurement, he didn't say a word but I can see him change color. I finally told him what I had done and we had a great laugh about it afterwards.
