The instructions say to trim the spar doubler per drawing 38 but we don't get the full size drawing until we order fuselage. and since the preview plan drawings are not updated, I contacted Van's to make sure the preview drawing dimensions were correct. I noticed from other builders that they did they did the same. Sice this is a critical cut, I measuerd many times before cutting.
After timming doublers I clecoed reinforcement fork and doubler together, I used the belt sander and scotch brite wheel to get all the edges even.
