Brief Description: Match drilled stiffners to skin, then dimpled stif
Today I match drilled the stiffners to rudder skins. But rather than drill into wood, I just placed wood strips on either side of stiffner location too lift the skin just enough to drill through and cleco. After this I set up the R2D2 ( ....not the real model no) and dimpled all the stiffners except the missing one that I re-ordered from Vans. I'm glad I bought this dimpling tool with the handle. It is effective, easier to control, much quieter, and easier on the arm. Well worth the extra cost.
