Roughed up the tank skin where sealant will contact including fuel cap flange, and drain flange. The method I used is to apply blue painters tape to mask off area adjacent to where the sealant is applied and used a #7440 heavy duty scotch brite pads to rough up the area. Theses pads do an excellent and quick job of roughing up the surfaces.
