Brief Description: Prep left fuel tank for sealing
I removed and dis-assembled the left fuel tank from the wing. The fuel tanks are not primed so all that is required is to scuff the areas that will receive the sealant. I started by deburring the inside of the skins and the reinforcement ribs and then masked off next to the areas that will be scuffed and then scuffed the areas with scotch brite pads. After this was done I dimpled the skin and reinforcement ribs using the special 3/32 tank dimpling set. This dimple set is set at a slightly deeper angle to accommodate proseal under the rivet
